I want to apologize for being MIA for the past few weeks. Our family moved into a new house, yay! I’ve been so busy with packing and unpacking that blog posts have taken a back seat. I’m also starting a new graduate program this week and have to scale back on the frequency of posts to accommodate the joys of student life. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy reading.
I love that I have this outlet to post things on because sometimes I stumble upon reads like this which make you think.

Tuesday in Love sent me a few of their nail polishes to try out recently. I tested the permeability at home and am quite satisfied with it. I didn’t record a video of it, but there are a couple of videos on YouTube that test it out.
Looking at blog pictures, I’ve noticed that the camera tends to capture my ombre as an orange-y, bleached mess. That inspired me to do this post on my ombre and how it really looks. Continue reading
I happened to stumble upon these pictures of what Barbie would look like as an average woman. Researcher Nickolay Lamm created 3D models of Barbie using an average 19 year old’s proportions. I appreciate the real take on the doll as opposed to the skinny ones I saw growing up. It’s a change I think toy makers should seriously consider.
